A search is still underway for the final missing crew member from the shipwreck off Ho Chi Minh City last week.
A body assumed to be of a deceased cruise member aboard the sunken cargo vessel Hoang Phuc 18 was transferred to Vung Tau City, around 100km from Ho Chi Minh City, aboard coast guard cutter 2010 for identification on Wednesday morning.
The victim was then identified as Phan Anh Tan, 54.
His body was found on Tuesday night, in an area 60 nautical miles from the shipwreck, leaving Nguyen Van Quang the only victim whose body has not been recovered.
The vessel is still being pulled into the port of Vietnam Salvage Joint Stock Company (Visal) in Vung Tau for repair and investigation.
