While June is traditionally one of the most anticipated months of the year for local press and media, with Vietnamese Journalism Day to be celebrated nationwide on June 21, Tuoitrenews has yet another day to prepare for -- June 18, the day its website sprung to life three years ago.

It seems just like yesterday for our team at Tuoitrenews, when we were overwhelmed by your wishes on our second birthday, but another year has flown by fast, and today we are pleased to celebrate the anniversary again.

The last 12 months have witnessed a number of changes at Tuoitrenews, with the most remarkable event -- we hope you did not forget -- the launching of our new website, which will mark its third month in service next week.

Running the website on a new platform is like moving to a new house. It took time to familiarize ourselves with the new system, and to resolve issues arising during the transition.

And for our readers, it may also take time for you to get used to the new design, and enjoy the additional features and convenience we hope our revamp gives.

Three months is enough a time to settle down, and the website has been running smoothly over the last month. Our effort paid off, as we welcomed new waves of readers, and enjoyed positive statistics.

But it does not mean we will stop trying to better ourselves, and sharpen the content we serve.

Tuoitrenews was established to be the news gateway of Vietnam, and this is the track we are committed to following, while we are fully aware that we should not to be satisfied with what we have done.

On this special occasion, Tuoitrenews would like to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to our readers, especially if this is the third time you have read about our birthday celebration.
