-- Vietnam considers to allow casino-like electronic games to be held in five-star hotels only, according to the Governmental draft resolution on the organization of electronic games.
-- Ethnic minority people Ta Mun has been suggested to the central authorities to recognize them as the 55th ethnic minority people of the nation. Now they are included as a branch of the S’Tieng. The Ta Mun now has 1,143 individuals from 234 households, mainly living in Tan Hiep Commune of Hon Quan District in the southern province of Binh Phuoc.
-- Vietnam should work out a strategy for mineral resources reserve for the future, said Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu, former chairwoman of the Social Affairs Department of the law making National Assembly, at a meeting in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.

-- Provincial authorities of the central province of Quang Ngai has established a safety zone at sea to protect and fish out antiques from an ancient ship sunk long ago in the waters of Binh Chau Commune of Binh Son District.
