Vietnam Airlines has put into operation the modern aircraft Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for its service to Germany, the Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday.

A ceremony was held on Monday at Frankfurt am Main International Airport to mark the deployment of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

This is the second international service that has used the new aircraft, after the Vietnam (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City)-London Heathrow route, which was opened in early September.

Vietnamese passengers can also fly with the Boeing flagship Dreamliner on the Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City service.

The Dreamliner, one of the newest flagship jetliners of the U.S. planemaker, is part of Vietnam Airlines’ renewal plan which uses the latest generation of fuel-efficient and environment-friendly aircraft.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is the second and newest member of the 787 family.Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to get the latest news about Vietnam!
