Hailing from France, the Arties Quartet will perform in Ho Chi Minh City next month to celebrate the France in Vietnam Year.

At the event, the artists will showcase G. Fauré’s “Piano Trio in D minor, opus 120,” WA Mozart’s “Piano Quartet No. 2 in E flat major k.493,” and R. Schumann’s “Piano Quartet in E flat major opus 47.”

The band consists of violinist Sullimann Altmayer, violist Julien Dabonneville, cellist Gauthier Herrmann, and pianist Romain Descharmes. They have all graduated from prestigious European conservatories and travelled the world, playing in the best concert halls. They wish to overcome the general codes and protocol of classical concerts to offer an authentic performance with a friendly, generous, and spontaneous spirit.

The concert will take place at 8pm on November 1 at the HCMC Youth Cultural House, 04 Pham Ngoc Thach Street in District 1.

Tickets cost VND100,000 (US$4.72) for the general public and VND50,000 for students.
