Manchester United are poised to hold a live fan meeting in Ho Chi Minh City next month, following last season’s event in Hanoi, the English Premier League club announced on Tuesday.

The fan-focused #ILOVEUNITED event will take place on March 4 at the city’s Hoa Lu Stadium and will be attended by club ambassador Denis Irwin and club legend David May, Manchester United said on their website and verified Facebook page.

“Throughout the day the United legends will meet fans and sample local culture, in the lead-up to a live match screening of Manchester United versus Bournemouth,” the announcement reads.

Prior to kick-off, Irwin and May will take part in an on-stage Q&A to share personal anecdotes from their time at the club as well as giving pre-match and post-match analysis of the game. There will also be entertainment, giveaways and competitions courtesy of the club's commercial partners.

Fans are also encouraged to test their skills in an exhilarating game of Bubble Football, created by the club's global noodle partner, Nissin.

The competition will see teams of three players battling it out against each other inside a giant inflatable bubble. The overall winning team will take away an all-expenses paid trip to Old Trafford to see a Manchester United game.

#ILOVEUNITED Vietnam is free to attend and supporters are asked to apply online for tickets by visiting manutd.com/iloveunitedvietnam by March 1. Applications will then be entered into a ballot, with tickets issued at random.

"Our Vietnamese fans are some of the club's most passionate and loyal supporters,” Manchester United’s Group Managing Director Richard Arnold commented in a statement.

“We always receive a warm welcome and great response to any event we host in the country and I am sure this will be no different.”

Arnold added that #ILOVEUNITED is the Red Devils’ way of “thanking fans for their continued dedication to the club by bringing a small piece of the excitement and atmosphere of Old Trafford to their home city.”

In May 2016, #ILOVEUNITED and Manchester United ambassadors Dwight Yorke and Bryan Robson met with fans in Hanoi.
