2nd version of Gangnam Style to hit Hanoi stage

“Oppa, just my style,” the second version of South Korean rapper PSY’s global hit “Gangnam Style” performed by PSY and pop singer HyunA, will be brought to the stage of the K-Pop Festival 2012 - Concert in Vietnam on November 29.

At the event, which features a large number of Kpop stars at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium, singer HyunA will sing the song, which reached over 150 million views several weeks after it was uploaded onto YouTube on August 14.

Besides HyunA, other renowned S.Korean artists including singers Son Dambi as well as star bands including SNSD, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Beast, Sistar, B.A.P, T-ARA, , KARA, Miss A, FT Island, Teen TOP and INFINITE promise to bring Hanoi Kpop fans a night to remember. In addition, fans were excited to learn that the three members of girl group SNSD will wear Vietnamese ao dai while they act as emcees for the show.

Outstanding artists Thanh Lam and Tan Minh will be Vietnam’s representatives in performing at the concert.

The event is being held by the South Korean Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation in collaboration with S.Korean 9M Art company and the Vietnamese VK MEDIA JSC as part of the activities intended to mark the 20th anniversary of relations between the two countries.
