Leaders pay tribute to fallen soldiers

Leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government and Fatherland Front on July 26 laid wreaths and offered incense in commemoration of heroes and fallen combatants at their monument in Hanoi on the occasion of the 65 th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

The leaders included Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, former Party General Secretaries Le Kha Phieu and Nong Duc Manh, and former NA Chairman Nguyen Van An.

They also paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.

On the same day, delegations from the Ministries of National Defence, Public Security and Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Hanoi Party Committee and People’s Committee also laid wreaths and offered incense at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.
