Japanese man found hanged at home in Hanoi

A Japanese national was found hanged at his residential home in the Crowne Plaza building in Hanoi’s Tu Liem district on Monday morning.

The deceased is Koji Shima, 55, a specialist at Hoya Glass Disk Vietnam, headquartered in the Thang Long industrial zone in Kim Chung commune, Dong Anh district.

An autopsy has been performed following his death.

It was said that Shima had suffered from depression and stomachaches for many years.

Local police found bottles of stomach pain medication at the scene. The exact cause of his death is being investigated.
