Pearson seeking teachers for trips to int’l conference

Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 11:49 GMT+7

Pearson, a global education company, is looking for Vietnamese candidates for two trips to an international English teaching conference expected to be organized next February in a Southeast Asian country other than Vietnam.

Applicants, who must be local English teachers, are required to submit by September 30 a three-minute long video at most featuring their teaching portfolios and a topic they would present at the conference, called South Asia Amazing Minds 2013, if selected.

They are also encouraged to provide an additional clip showing them teaching in class, and interviews with their students or other teachers.

All entries will be judged on the ideas, not the image quality or editing work.

South Asia Amazing Minds is an annual development program provided by Pearson that supports English teachers across South Asia in their search for professional and personal growth.

It was held in the central city of Da Nang, Vietnam in February this year.

For entry submission and other detailed information, contact Vo Thi Thao Nguyen at nguyen.vo@pearson.com or (+84-8) 3820 5820.
