Politics:

- An exhibition featuring 300 photos and a number of documents proving the Spratly Islands and Paracel Islands belonging to Vietnam on November 25 was opened in the central city of Hue. The event will run until November 30.

- On November 24, the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association in the Lombardy region (IVFA-L) had its regular meeting in Milan to promote solidarity and friendship between the two countries and raise funds for Agent Orange victims in Vietnam.

Lifestyle:

- 21-year-old Mai Giang from the northern city of Hai Phong has recently been crowned at the modeling contest Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012 concluded on November 25. The two other finalists were Thien Trang and Kha My van.

- More than 1,300 disable children have registered for a community dance performance of PSY’s global hit “Gangnam Style” at the camp for disable people to be held by the HCMC Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs in the city next month.

- The second Hanoi International Film Festival on November kicked off in the capital city. Besides giving awards, this year’s festival will also screen numerous movies, including a number of the world’s outstanding cinematography works. The festival will last until November 29.
