National Assembly’s Q-A session starts with five officials

Five cabinet members, including Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, will answer questions put to them at the National Assembly’s Question-Answer session starting today and last until June 14. During the live broadcast sessions, these officials will have to reply to questions on matters under their charge. Along with Deputy PM Phuc in the session today are Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat, Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh and General Prosecutor of the Supreme People’s Procuracy Nguyen Hoa Binh.

Minister Chuyen is expected to be questioned by NA deputies on issues related to employment and vocational training, such as measures to improve training and job generation for people in rural areas. Minister Phat may be asked about measures to promote agricultural development in combination with job creation. He can also be questioned on mechanisms and policies for building new-style rural areas.

As for the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, he will receive questions related the preservation and upgrading of historical and cultural relic sites, and measures to boost the tourism development.

Meanwhile, General Prosecutor Binh will face questions on how to strengthen the efficiency of the exercise of the right to public prosecution and oversee law enforcement at judicial agencies. He can also be asked about issues related to the fight against corruption.
