Green Talk, the campaign to call on people to raise their voices to protect the environment, kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on October 25.

Held by UNESCO Vietnam, the campaign includes a range of activities such as seminars, photo exhibitions and idea contests and has attracted more than 200 local young volunteers who have promised to "SPEAK UP for activities harming the living environment.”

Well-known rocker Tran Lap, who is currently a coach on the singing contest ‘The Voice of Vietnam’, is the campaign’s ambassador.

The event is scheduled to run until January 2013.
