An education fair will be organized at the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City late this month, featuring numerous higher education institutions from America.
At the event, which will be held by the consulate’s EducationUSA Advising Center, participants will have the chance to talk directly with representatives from 45 American universities and junior colleges, the Consulate General said on January 16 in a press release.
The fair will also feature tips and guidance on student visa procedures from an officer of the U.S. Consulate General, information on financial aid and scholarships up to the cost of attending a school, as well as no cost and non-business-based advising services at the EducationUSA Advising Center.
It will highlight the diverse range of education options available in the United States, from public and private universities, to four-year schools and community colleges.
The event, free and open to the public, is scheduled to take place from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on January 29 on the Consulate General premises at 7 Mac Dinh Chi Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Pre-registration by hour is required and can be made via http://hcmcedusafair2015-usconsulate.eventbrite.com.
Participants need to bring along passports and/or photo IDs for entry. Electronic devices (including laptops, tablets, and cellphones), large bags, and backpacks are not allowed.
