Over 150 antiques from Southeast Asian countries are on display at an exhibit, which is running in Can Tho City until the end of April.
The exhibit, “Antiques from some Southeast Asian countries”, is running at the Can Tho City Museum from Tuesday to Sunday.
The antiques, dated from the late 19th century to early 20th century, include a metal Buddha statue and a black pottery vase from Laos, feudal court officials’ headwear made of metal and hair from horse tails from Vietnam, a stone statue of a deity from Cambodia and a 2,500-year-old terracotta jar from Thailand.
The museum also exhibits 110 documentary and artistic photos, which summarize the city’s development in the 10 years of growing into a central-level city.
