Glossary:

Pay attention to how the word is combined with other words in context. Do not learn the meaning of the word without sentences. Vietnamese should be the last resort after you have tried all the learning strategies.

• Welder (n.): someone who welds, or puts pieces of iron together by welding (Thợ hàn)

• Clerk (n.): a person who works in an office performing such tasks as keeping records, attending to correspondence, or filing (Thư ký)

• Mechanic (n.): someone whose occupation is repairing and maintaining automobiles (Thợ máy)

• Electrician (n.): one whose occupation is the installation, maintenance, repair, or operation of electric equipment and circuitry (Thợ điện)

• Tailor (n.): a person whose occupation is making and altering garments (Thợ may)

• Barber (n.): one whose occupation it is to shave or trim the beard, and to cut and dress the hair of his customers (Thợ hớt tóc)
