A photo exhibition by a Sri Lankan shutterbug will open tomorrow, September 10, in Hanoi, bringing a glimpse of the island nation to Vietnam.
The exhibition, organized by the Sri Lanka Embassy in Vietnam, will showcase artworks by photographer Ravindra Ranasinghe from Saturday to Sunday.
The event takes place at the National Photo Archives and Exhibition Centre at 3 Ton That Thuyet Street in Cau Giay District.
One hundred photos depicting the stunning beauty of Sri Lanka’s renowned rising mountains, lush forests, and gushing waterfalls have been selected for display at the event.
Ranasinghe has traveled across his country for years, documenting the natural beauty of the nation and saving the best moments of his journey.
Last December he was a prize-winner at the 8th International Photography Contest organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in cooperation with the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).
