A rock concert featuring 15 Vietnamese and foreign bands is set to take place in Ho Chi Minh City next week.

The Hardcore United 3 concert will be held at 2:00 pm on September 3 at 3A Station at 3A Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1.

Both well known and new Vietnamese rock bands are expected to appear at the event, bringing the audience the most vibrant and fascinating sounds.

The rock concert will also feature four bands from Thailand, including Annalyn, Born from Pain, Monument X, and Magic of Jovial.

Besides rock songs, fans will have the chance to enjoy a number of hip hop performances and relish handmade products and paintings made by artists.

Tran Cao Vinh, head of the organizing board, told Tuoi Tre News that the event is meant to provide youngsters with a diverse cultural, artistic playground as well as developing a community which helps connect rock lovers.

“We hope to build a modern, dynamic rock community and invite more international rock bands to Vietnam in the future,” Vinh added.

Hardcore United was organized for the first time in 2014 with the participation of dozens of bands across Vietnam, attracting around 400 fans.

The latest concert will be jointly organized by Hardcore Vietnam, WOW, Far East Agency, and First and Last Records.
