A light show, with support from French experts, will be showcased at Ho Chi Minh City’s Reunification Palace on December 13 and 14.
The façade of the palace will be turned into a big screen to showcase a 15 minute story of Vietnamese history from its founding to the present day, including various Vietnamese traditional images such as Lac Long Quan and Au Co, bamboo trees, paddy fields, and lotus flowers.
The show combines art, light, and music, which will be executed by French experts from Allumeurs d'Images, a company well known for its creative and unique lighting shows. This is the first time the team will perform a light show in Asia.
The music will be presented by Vietnamese singer Le Cat Trong Ly and French artist izOrel. There will be seven screenings at 7 pm, 7:30 pm, 8 pm, 8:30 pm, 9 pm, 9:30 pm, 10 pm, and 10:30 pm.
This is the final event to take place within the framework of the Year of France in Vietnam, organized on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
