Tuesday, June 25, 2013, 11:11 GMT+7

The monthly concert titled “Giai Dieu Tre” (Young Melodies), offering free chamber music shows, will take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on June 29.

The show will feature performances by artists from the HCMC Symphony Ballet and Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Tran Nhat Minh. The artists will perform classics by renowned composers including Mozart, Grieg and Rachmaninov.

Jointly launched two years ago by the HCMC Symphony Ballet Symphony Orchestra and the city’s Youth Union, and sponsored by the city People’s Committee, “Giai Dieu Tre” has become a popular destination for local chamber music lovers. It has attracted nearly 1,000 people every month.

Free tickets are available at HCMC’s Student Assistance Center, 33 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, District 1, and the HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera at 7 Cong Truong Lam Son, also in District 1.
