Italian magician to perform in HCMC next month

Renowned Italian magician Erix Logan will perform for Ho Chi Minh City’s audiences in 4 shows in July after he ends his tour to Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong this month.

At the show in the southern city, the artist will bring on stage more than 30 attractive performances with the assistance of 8.8 tons of props Logan has brought to Vietnam to serve his performances in the country.

Logan, whose real name is Enrico Del Buono, has had a passion for magic since he was very young. According to him, magic is spectacular since it brings about special gifts and is a good way for him to show his talent.

“With the show, we hope to not only bring the world’s amazing magic performances to local audiences, but also create chances for Vietnamese magicians and circus artists to acknowledge creative and special props of the international artist as well as learn experiences from him. We always give local artists tickets to the shows,” Hoai Anh, representative of the Youth Theater, Dong Do Show Company and HCMC Circus Troupe, the show’s organizers said.

Erix Logan will perform at 8pm on July 5, 6, 7 and 9am on July 7 at Lan Anh Stage at 291 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street in District 10.

Tickets costing from VND100,000 (US$4.81) to VND350,000. 1,000 tickets will be handed to disadvantaged children in the city.

Besides performances on stage, Logan will also visit Tam Binh orphanage. Earlier, the magician also visited Quang Ninh Orphanage and the Central Children's Hospital in Hanoi.
