- Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has arrived in Hanoi yesterday for his first visit to Vietnam. He will give a speech with students at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam before meeting with Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh.

- The qualifier round of the reality show “Vietnam’s Got Talent” is taking place in Ho Chi Minh City in three day from yesterday, October 14. People who are interested with the show can register to attend at Metropole convention center in District 3.
- The final round of the Vietnamese version of “So You Think You Can Dance” has kicked off on Saturday night, October 13, in HCMC. The show featuring all kinds of dance has blown a fresh air to local entertainment showbiz which has been almost covered by singing contest.
