Tuesday, January 06, 2015, 09:01 GMT+7

In the near future, Vietjet’s new international route Taipei-Ho Chi Minh City will not only connect two dynamic cities Taipei and Ho Chi Minh City, but also help spread a message of love for travelers and residents from both Vietnam and Taiwan and far beyond, whether they are travelling for business, pleasure or a long-waited family reunion.

As a successful and meaningful year has just ended, Vietjet is proud to look back on a number of achievements and accolades. The airline was declared one of the “Top Ten Best Budget Airlines of Asia.” Vietjet also set a new record for “The Most Smiles on a Flight.” Now Vietnam’s fastest-growing carrier, Vietjet was also declared a “National Environmental-Friendly” airline and lauded for its efforts to contribute to the community in relief operations such as helping victims in the Philippines after the devastating Haiyan typhoon.

Vietjet carried nearly 10 million passengers as of December 2014 and is now becoming one of the most popular airlines in the country and region thanks to the airline’s unique and innovative services which provide passengers with unforgettable flying experiences at incredible prices.

During the past year, Vietjet has also been voted as one of the “Top 10 Most Famous Brands in Vietnam 2014.”

With a vision to bring many more meaningful and fun programs to travelers from all over the world, Vietjet has introduced an extra-special initiative called “Spread the Love” for passengers on its newest route Taipei-Ho Chi Minh City.

“Spread the Love,” as the name suggests, aims to use the wings of Vietjet’s modern aircraft to carry a message of friendship and love to residents of Vietnam and Taiwan – both Vietnamese and Taiwanese living in Taiwan as well as Taiwanese people residing in Vietnam are eligible.

The very first passengers

The program offers a discount of 100 percent on the first leg of the route Taipei-Ho Chi Minh City on March 20, 2015 and 50 percent discount on the return leg when flying between Taipei and Ho Chi Minh City between March 20 and May 20, 2015.

Vietjet has invited people to tell the airline about their days of working and living in a foreign land. The airline will then assess the stories and decide who is the most deserving of a discount on their ticket.

Whoever wins is sure to “Enjoy Flying” with Vietjet, which also won an award for having the most cultural, creative and entertaining in-flight programs – so many surprises will be waiting for passengers on this special flight.

The exciting program is still open but its registration will end on January 15, 2015, so for any Vietnamese and Taiwanese residents living in Taiwan as well as Taiwanese people residing in Vietnam, go to www.vietjetair.com now and fill in the registration form on the homepage titled “Spread the Love” or send an email to vietjet@vietjetair.com.

According to Mr. Desmond Lin, Business Development Director of Vietjet, “Flying with Vietjet you will discover our airline operates the safest and most modern aircraft while offering an amazing experience. Vietjet’s famously fun and friendly flight attendants and a delicious hot meal will be on hand to ensure all passengers enjoy a comfortable flight and feel close to home.”

“Spread the Love” is open to Vietnamese and Taiwanese people in Taiwan as well as Taiwanese people residing in Vietnam.
