Interested participants can register at www.vuadaubep.vtv.vn or https://www.facebook.com/VuadaubepVietnam. The winner will receive an award worth VND500 million (US$23,585) and a contract for a cookbook publication.
This year, the show is expected to have 15 episodes and be broadcast at 8pm every Sunday on VTV3 from May next year.
The first season last year drew public and local media attention with the home cooks’ journeys to the trophy. Vietnamese – Australian Ngo Thanh Hoa won the contest last year.
Created in the UK in July 1990, Masterchef is now produced in more than 35 countries and airs in at least 200 territories. MasterChef Australia and MasterChef US are the most well-known versions.
