Artists to play football to tie Vietnam – S.Korea relationship

A friendly football match between artists from Vietnam and South Korea will be held by the Vietnam Cinema Association in collaboration with the Overseas Korean Association in Ho Chi Minh City on December 1.

The event is part of activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of relations between the two countries, as well as to raise funds to support dioxin victims in HCMC.

Local participating artists include singers, actors and models Phuong Thanh, Ly Hai, Pham Anh Khoa, Hoang Bach, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Minh Hang, Doan Trang, Dong Nhi, Thai Hoa, Hieu Hien, Nhat Cuong, Huy Khanh, Duc Thinh, Duc Vinh and Tran Quy.

For its part, the Korean artist team consists of Lee Jong Won, Yoon Young Hyun, Kim Jun Kyun, Kim Myung-Deuk, Ra Kyung Hun, J Hyun, YiByong Chol, Park Jang Kool, Kim Mun Chan and Cho Younggu.

A music show with the participation of artists from the two countries will also be held on November 30. Ticket for the show costs from VND50,000 (US$2.4) to VND350,000 (US$16.79).

In related news, two big concerts gathering a large number of Kpop stars will also be held earlier in HCMC and Hanoi to mark the 20-year relationship of Vietnam and S.Korea.

Titled “M Live Most Amazing 2012,” the concert at HCMC’s Phu Tho Stadium in District 11 on November 24 will feature artists including Wonder Girls, Huh Gak, ZE:A, SanE, JJ Project and Hi.ni. Meanwhile, the “K-Pop Festival 2012 - Concert in Vietnam” on November 29 in Hanoi promise to enthrall local audiences with many stars like SNSD, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Beast, Sistar, B.A.P, T-ARA, , KARA, Miss A, FT Island, Teen TOP and INFINITE.
