Broaden your children’s horizon

Broaden your children’s horizon

Horizon International Bilingual School (HIBS), a day and boarding school with two campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi providing quality education in a positive loving atmosphere for students of all nationalities, is now recruiting for its renowned summer school and the new academic year.

HIBS is established in 2005 as the first ever bilingual school of its kind, applying 100% of the Vietnamese national curriculum, MOET, as well as providing students with an intensive English program along with teaching science and math in English.

“Our ethos is to promote a sense of community between students, parents, and teachers that compliment personal growth and learning. All teachers have a global perspective that is encouraged in the thinking of their students,” says Mr. Murat Kucukdugenci, General Director of HIBS.

HIBS organizes English-only summer school every year with the motto of “Comfort for Parents and fun & learning for Students”.

Starting from 2 June to 1 August, its flexible summer policy means you do not need to attend for the entire summer, with choices of attending from as short as one week, perfect for different families’ needs. In addition, there are options to attend morning or afternoon sessions, or both depending on students’ schedules.

Opening five days a week from Monday to Friday, its summer school is suitable from nursery to grade 12 students and prides itself in small-sized classes, all equipped with interactive smart boards.

Books and all learning materials are included in tuition fee, starting from a competitive US$500 per student for practice-unit afternoon classes and US$990 for semi-formal-unit morning classes, for the entire summer.

Even during the break, everyone is encouraged to converse in English and be actively-involved in language-related games. This kind of immersion in the English language will fine tune capabilities to more quickly understand ideas expressed in English and enhance student abilities so that they can be more fluent in using English.

Morning classes comprise of four periods per day, including English classes by almost exclusively native-English speaking teachers, who have clear diction for the best modeling of speech to students learning English as a Second Language.  They understand nuances of the English language with an innate correctness in their use of English. Afternoon classes, on the other hands, are extra-curricular activities including music, drawing, swimming, badminton, chess, cinema, treasure hunt, to name but a few.

Besides its famous summer school, HIBS is also recruiting for the new academic year starting from September.

“We believe that everyone should look beyond the horizon for the best possible opportunities”, said Mr. Mehmet Vural, Principal of HIBS. To broaden your children’s horizon, look to HIBS - Horizon International Bilingual School.
