Extracting data from these flight data recorders will help determine the exact cause of the crash, which is now believed to have been caused by a collision between the two aircraft during their bombing drill, said Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.    -- About 163 traffic accidents occurred across Vietnam over the past four holidays from April 28 to May 1, killing 91 people, injuring 109 others, and leaving three people missing, the National Traffic Safety Committee reported. During the period, various activities were conducted nationwide to mark the death anniversary of Hung Kings (lunar March 10, which falls on April 28), the Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1). --  The Ho Chi Minh City Immigration Department, under the city’s Police Department, said on Friday that it will begin operating at its new head office at 196 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ward 5, District 3, as of May 4. The new facility is three times as large as the current office, at 161 Nguyen Du Street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, the department said.  -- More than 160 people were hospitalized in Ho Chi Minh City for treatment of injuries caused by fights during the holidays from April 28 to 30, the city Health Department reported. In April 30n (the Reunification Day) alone, 64 people were taken to hospitals after their fights, the department said.Business -- Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) said on Friday that the works to resolve the submarine cable incident that has slowed down Internet connectivity since Thursday last week will be complete by May 13. The incident was caused by a leakage power, which occurred on the section between Vietnam’s southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and Hong Kong in the AAG (Asia - America Gateway) system, which links Vietnam and the U.S. -- The world gold price on Friday afternoon (Vietnam time) decreased sharply to US$1,182.7 per ounce from the more than US$1,200 per ounce in previous days, but the gold prices in Vietnam have only reduced slightly.Education -- The Ministry of Education and Training has issued a notice of selecting 296 candidates for overseas training in university education and master’s degrees in 2015 under a national training project paid by the State budget for the 2013-2020 period. Every winning candidate will be granted a scholarship of up to US$20,000, according to the notice.     Sports -- Manchester United (M.U) will compete with West Brom in a match in the 35th round of the Premier League at 11:30 pm Saturday (Vietnam time).
