The second “Central Highlands Cultural Days in Hanoi ” will be held in the capital city from August 28 – September 2, featuring a wide range of activities that provide an insight into the region.

The event marks the 67 th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day. It is also a good opportunity to confirm the vitality and the longevity of the ethnic groups’ cultural character in the Central Highlands.

During the event, the provinces of Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Lam Dong and the capital city of Hanoi will join together in a programme of art performances and cultural exchanges spotlighting the region’s indigenous characteristics.

This large-scale event also aims to highlight tangible and intangible cultural values of ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands; promote economic and tourism development in the region and encourage ethnic minority people to maintain their cultural life and develop their socio-economic status.

Other activities including exhibitions and seminars to promote conservation will also be held.
