Christmas is not only a chance to celebrate the breezy, festive season, but also a time for people to save their best moments by capturing beautiful photos with friends and family. Tuoi Tre News suggests some ideal places in Ho Chi Minh City to pose for flashy photos during the holiday.

Although the Saigon Tax Trade Center in District 1, which used to be one of the most attractive destinations for its alluring Christmas decorations, no longer lights up the downtown area due to its closure in early October, residents still have plenty of spots to shoot their photos.

Downtown District 1

This is a must-mention place which welcomes flocks of people coming to celebrate Christmas each year. Many streets including Dong Khoi, Le Duan and Pham Ngoc Thach or big shopping malls like Diamond Plaza, Saigon Center, Vincom, Parkson and Bitexco are all decorated with lights and big Christmas trees, Santa Claus and reindeers.

Christian area in District 8

Pham The Hien Street, where many Christians live, now becomes a glittering, mysterious area with lights and many big Christmas cribs featuring Santa Claus, waterfalls and reindeers. The special aspect of this place is that all the decorations are paid for and made by locals, who turn their own houses into flashy, ideal destinations for visitors to take beautiful photos.
