The International Tennis Federation has told the local Vietnamese federation to probe into the case in which a British player was allegedly robbed and peeped on while bathing by a gay man in two separate incidents during his performance in the southern province of Binh Duong last month. Andrew Fitzpatrick, ranked 487th on the world tally, won a men’s doubles match at the Men’s Future - Becamex 2012 on September 24, after which he “had a shocker in the showers,” the 23-year-old wrote on Twitter. “Amazing scenes out here, anything else want to happen to me?” he tweeted.Peeked and robbed “Someone decided they would try to join me in my cubicle. The wallet contained £1,000, all of the money that would fund his tournaments across Asia, he told BBC. Fitzpatrick was due to go on to play in Hong Kong and Japan and to be joined by his girlfriend, he told a friend via Twitter. But he refused to pack it in and come home. "I'm willing to tough it out off just prize money at the moment”. "The more I win, the more money I have to live off,” he told BBC.Case handled Le Viet Cuong, the managing director of the Future tour, said he has submitted the police report on the case to ITF. Cuong said the organizers were not in charge of arranging accommodations for the players, but only recommended some hotels for them. Andrew didn’t stay at the recommended hotel, but chose another on his own, he said. “He also admitted that he didn’t remember when and where he lost his money,” he added. Cuong said the gay man was captured immediately after the incident, and the case was handled by local police. But the British man told BBC that the peeping Tom was just given a warning by officers.
