A Thai group has announced a program providing Vietnamese students with a one-day training workshop in December on skills and opportunities to become future leaders.
SCG Group, which operates in the field of building materials, chemicals and packaging, has launched its 2015 SCG Young Leaders program for the third year for Vietnamese students, the group said in a press release on Monday.
Initiated in Vietnam in 2013, SCG Young Leaders is one of SCG’s biggest corporate social responsibility programs in a country focused on human development.
The journey to find the future leaders of SCG was recently concluded in both Cambodia and Indonesia, and has now arrived in Vietnam.
According to the organizers, the one-day program not only focuses on developing participants’ leadership skills but also brings opportunity for top talents to become future leaders of SCG.
Carefully designed by SCG based on the company’s practical requirements, SCG Young Leaders is a top-notch career program aiming to provide participants with fundamental leadership knowledge and opportunities for their future career as young leaders, the group said.
Candidates of the 2015 SCG Young Leaders program are senior students in the last two years of their majors in engineering, business, economics, finance, accounting, marketing, or other fields related to social science.
Taking part in this program, 50 participants will be chosen and able to understand leadership behavior, discover their own leadership characteristics, lead themselves before leading others, learn teamwork skills, meet and network with other young leaders.
Additionally, the program will open the door for these 50 students to a future career at SCG.
The 2015 SCG Young Leaders workshop is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on December 12.
Interested candidates can register for the program at www.facebook.com/scgchungmotuocmo from now until November 23.
