The incidents occurred near the beach opposite 80 Tran Phu Street, a popular area for both residents and tourists.
Witnesses said several people, including foreign nationals, had to receive first aid after being cut by submerged objects.
Nguyen Van Tuyen, a local resident, said his grandson was injured while swimming and required five stitches and a tetanus shot after being cut by a sharp object underwater.
In response, local authorities have marked off the hazardous area, erected warning signs, and deployed lifeguards to advise swimmers to avoid the section.

According to the Nha Trang Bay Management Board, the area is the site of a previous maritime incident in 2019, when a 30-meter-long barge became stranded and damaged offshore.
While most of the barge has since been buried under sand, parts of its metal bow remain submerged and may become exposed due to changing tides or strong waves, posing risks to beachgoers.
The management board has reported the situation to the Nha Trang People’s Committee and recommended that relevant agencies take urgent action to remove the remaining debris and ensure public safety.
