The first-ever exhibition on the iconic Japanese manga series 'Detective Conan' held in Ho Chi Minh City is drawing attention from the public, especially its diehard fans.
The exhibition, which kicked off at Gigamall in Thu Duc City on Saturday last week and will last until the end of August, is intended to mark the 30th anniversary of the release of the manga series in January 1994.
Through the ‘30 Years with Memories-Detective Conan’ exhibition, Japanese manga artist Aoyama Gosho, creator of the series, sent a letter of gratitude to Vietnamese readers who have accompanied the manga during its three-decade journey.

The exhibition space features some display rooms with various themes to remind readers of the relationship between characters in the manga series, murder cases, and criminals and culprits.
Uyen, 25, shared her excitement while visiting the exhibition that she has been a diehard fan of the manga series Detective Conan since she was young.
Over the past 15 years, this is the first time she has attended an exhibition on her favorite manga.
“I am exhilarated to see the first-ever exhibition on the manga series Detective Conan, and recollect its details and impressive moments,’ Uyen expressed her feeling.
Facebook user MangaHolic, specializing in attending manga and anime exhibitions in Japan, China, and Singapore, highly valued the event in Ho Chi Minh City for the arrangement of display spaces and mementoes.
Vietnam has become the first country outside Japan to host an exhibition on the legendary manga series Detective Conan.
