The 4th national recreational dance championship Floor Killer will take place in Hanoi next month, gathering the competing performances of hip hop dancers across the country.

The annual contest, to be held by the Vietnam Recreational e-Sports and Electronic Sport Association, aims at both professional and amateur dancers. It will feature the six most popular hip hop genres in the world, including breaking, hip hop, locking, popping, waacking and house.

The contest’s jury consists of well-known dancers from Vietnam, Korea, Thailand, and Japan. This year, the competition will also boast the performances of guest dancers Uwe Donaubauer and Louis Becker from Germany.

Uwe Donaubauer graduated from the FRK Dance Academy in Austria as a hip hop, break dance and locking instructor.

Louis Becker is one of the best-known B-Boys in Germany. He studied hip hop at the Tanzzwiet Dance School in Berlin.

The 2014 Floor Killer will take place from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm on July 5 and 6 at Savico Megamall at 7 Nguyen Van Linh Street in Long Bien District.
