Five members of the Vietnam Harmonica Orchestra (VNHO) will take part, for the first time, in an international harmonica festival in South Korea this week.
The annual Seoul International Harmonica Festival will be hosted by the Korea Harmonica Education Association (KHEA) to boost international exchange among world-class artists and discover potential talents.
This year, such well-known harmonica artists as Howard Levy and Branden Power have been invited to attend the event as guest speakers or judges.
The fest will take place from July 31 to August 2 at Seoul Citizens Hall, featuring workshops, seminars, gala concerts and exhibitions, according to the KHEA website.
This is the first time a Vietnamese harmonica troupe is participating in an international festival.
The team is expected to perform traditional folk songs using the free reed wind instrument.
