Big cities host film fest to mark VN – S.Korean relationship

The Vietnamese – Korean film festival will be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in October and December to mark the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The event titled “Connecting Souls” will showcases Korean best movies at MegaStar Crecent Mall from October 18 to 24 in the southern city and MegaStar Vincom Towers from December 6 to 8 in the northern city.

Renowned director Choo Chang-Min and film producer Won Dong – Yeon, creators of the movie “Masquerade” which will be screened to open the festival, will also comes to the cities and take part in. South Korean well-known actress Cha Ye-Ryeon together with actor Johny Tri Nguyen, are the ambassadors of the event.

In related news, South Korean soprano Sumi Jo will also perform in a concert titled “We Are Friends” at the Cultural Friendship Palace on October 27. The concert is also among activities to celebrate the occasion.
