An art exchange exhibition between Vietnam and South Korea is scheduled to take place in Hanoi in early October, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism said last week on its website.
The “Giao luu my thuat Viet Nam va Han Quoc” (Vietnam – South Korea Art Exchange) exhibition will be held at 29 Hang Bai Street, Hoan Kiem District, from October 1 to October 7.
The week-long event will introduce 108 artworks, including paintings, graphics, and sculptures, by both Vietnamese and Korean artists using various materials such as acrylic, watercolor, lacquer, synthetic material, and silk.
The artworks, intended to cement the friendly relations between the two countries and bring visitors a better understanding of Korean and Vietnamese culture, illustrate every aspect of the people, landscape, and daily activities of the two nations.
The event is being jointly organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Busan Fine Arts Association.
