The Performing Arts Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism  recently instructed all cities and provinces to temporarily ban a 22-year-old female from performing nationwide, from August 8, even in bars, due to her breast-flaunting acts on Facebook.

The targeted person is Le Thi Huyen Anh, with Facebook nick “Ba Tung” (Mrs Tung).

The ban is announced after a photo showing her performing in a Ho Chi Minh City’s bar was spread among netizens. According to the Performing Arts Department, Ba Tung is prohibited from performing because she earlier posted photos and statements which are considered offensive.

Earlier last month, a show featuring Ba Tung’s performance which was due to be held at the Max 3 bar in Hanoi on July 27 was cancelled. The bar was warned for hanging banners with her photo in scanty clothes.

Few days later, another show of Ba Tung in Khanh Hoa was also suspended.

Ba Tung started as an obscure college student but after she posted offensive comments and sensual photos, became infamous and gained many followers on social websites.

She once stated “if I receive 1,000 likes, I would post a video featuring me dancing [Psy’s] ‘Gentlemen’ without a bra,” Ba Tung has received more than 30,000 views on YouTube for such a video.

After that she posted another video in which she, braless again, played teacher and taught sex education to viewers. She also played sexy nurse and called on others to “discard the bra as it could lead to breast cancer”.
