Vietnam Motor Show 2013 (VMS 2013), the biggest exhibition for automobiles and spare parts, has been launched at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7.

With the theme: “Together. To Success!”, the 4-day event, organized by the CIS-Le Bros joint venture, attracted 15 automobile brands.

They included 8 members of Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), like Ford, GM, Hino, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Toyota and Vinastar together with Nissan and seven official automobile imported brands, such as Audi, BMW, Land Rover, Lexus, Renault, Nissan and Infiniti.

It is also a chance for automobile manufacturers to introduce their latest products and technologies and will host as “a forum for managers, policy makers, producers, and importers to discuss strategies that will encourage the growth of the Vietnamese automobile industry,” according to the organizer.

The event is also expected to offer customers various choices and become a bridge between automobile businesses and their local customers, said VAMA.

This, in turn, will “contribute to the further development of Vietnam's domestic automobile industry,” said the organizer.

The organizers are expecting to attract 200,000 visitors, compared to the number of 120,000 turns in 2012.
