Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast, owned by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, has officially opened its early reservation period for the Green series through its distribution partner Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) from March 17 to 24.
The automaker is offering a range of attractive incentives, including discounts of up to VND22.5 million (US$882) per vehicle and free charging at V-Green stations until June 2027, effectively reducing running costs to nearly zero for the next two years.
As the most compact model in VinFast’s lineup, the Minio Green -- part of the brand’s Green series -- starts at VND269 million ($10,550), including the battery.
Customers who pre-order can enjoy several benefits, including a VND5-million ($196) discount, free choice of color, and a 10-12-percent reduction in registration fees until February 28, 2027.
Other models in the Green lineup also come with appealing discounts.
Customers putting down a deposit on the Herio Green or the Nerio Green can enjoy a VND10-million ($392) discount, while the Limo Green offers a price cut of up to VND15 million ($588).
Moreover, customers in Hanoi who register their vehicles before January 2026 can enjoy additional incentives valued up to VND7.5 million ($294).
The free charging policy at V-Green stations, valid until June 2027, will benefit VinFast customers.
For the Minio Green, VinFast is also offering flexible financing options, with up to 90 percent of the car’s value available for installment plans over five years.
A deposit of just VND26.4 million ($1,035), the equivalent of a motorcycle, enables customers to own a four-seater car suitable for both personal use and commercial transport services.
The Green vehicles stand out not only for their competitive pricing but also for an impressive warranty coverage.
The Minio Green, Herio Green, and Limo Green come with a seven-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty for a vehicle, with an eight-year unlimited mileage warranty for the battery.
The Minio Green is powered by a 20kW electric motor with a torque of 65 Nm, a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and a range of 170 kilometers on a full charge.
Several drivers have calculated that the initial investment of VND26.4 million, paired with a loan of over VND200 million ($7,830) and a monthly installment of more than VND5 million ($196) over five years, makes it an accessible option compared to traditional gasoline vehicles.
After March 24, the early reservation period will end, and the Green series will be available for sale at VinFast showrooms and authorized dealers at the following listed prices: Minio Green at VND269 million, Herio Green at VND499 million ($19,538), Nerio Green at VND668 million ($26,157), and Limo Green at VND749 million ($29,330).
The estimated delivery time for the Herio Green and Nerio Green models is April, while Minio Green and Limo Green are expected to reach customers in August.
