About five hundred eggshell handicrafts of the 12 zodiac animal have been created by Nguyen Thanh Tam, an English teacher, since 2001

A small apartment on the fourth floor of the Nguyen Van Luong building in Go Vap District is where Tam makes his unique collections of the 12 lunar animals.

Each is created from many types of egg shells, including ostrich, sparrow chicken.

Each year, he produces a collection of that period’s designated animal. His latest is the ‘snakes’, since this reptile is the sign of this year.
