Banyan Tree inaugurates resort in Hue

Singapore’s Banyan Tree Group has put into operation the world-class resort complex Laguna Lang Co in Lang Co town in Hue, the country’s former imperial capital.

The 280-hectare resort boasts 2,000 rooms along with spas, golf courses, convention halls, serviced apartments (bungalows), retail outlets, and recreation centers.

The group, which pumped US$200 million into the project’s first phase, also inaugurated the Laguna Lang Co golf course with an 18-hole course and 71 clubs.

Banyan Tree Holdings Limited, one of the world’s leaders in hotels, resorts and luxury apartments in the Asia Pacific, owns some 30 hotels and resorts and is also a major shareholder of many hotels and resorts in other countries.
