The 70 best contestants of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2013  have been chosen for the final round of the third annual beauty pageant, to be held in the central province of Quang Nam in June.

Jointly held by the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee and the International Trade Fair and Advertisement Joint-stock Company CIAT, this year the event attracted 108 contestants from 24 ethnic minorities in 44 provinces and cities. It aims to honor the beauty of ethnic minority girls, as well as culture and tourism.

The finale is scheduled to take place in Hoi An city on June 26. Contestants have to go through rounds including traditional costume, swimsuit and evening gowns.

The winner will receive a VND100million (US$4,808) award.
