A wax museum, the first of its kind in Vietnam, has recently been opened at the Fantasy Park of Ba Na Hills Resort in the central city of Da Nang after six months of construction.

The museum was built by Sun Group, owner of the resort located on Ba Na Mountain, Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District.

It currently showcases 25 waxworks of worldwide celebrities including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Michael Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Lee, Messi and David Beckham. The real-size statues are made from beeswax or plastic.

The number of waxworks is expected to reach 43 at the end of this year, according to the museum.

There are also souvenir shops, a coffee shop and an area for visitors to make waxworks.

The museum has a capacity of 1,000. Tickets cost VND50,000 (US$2.38).
