Chi Nguyen, the first Vietnamese representative at Miss Asia World, has decided leave for Lebanon one week early to have more time to visit the beautiful host country and be more prepared for the 2018 edition of the contest.

Chi said she had to do everything by herself from the very first days in Lebanon.

“The contest was scheduled for June 20 and there’s no helping from the organizers until the event really kicks off,” she said.

Even though Chi had to get by on her own, everything has been going on well.

“I have got accustomed to the country’s way of living, which will help me to be more confident for the next challenges in some way,” Chi, first runner-up at the 2017 Charming Ao dai contest and the second-runner up of Vietnam Top Fashion Models 2018, shared.

As one of the earliest bird to come to Lebanon for the beauty contest, Chi did not miss the chance to discover the Western Asia country, which is not quite familiar to Vietnamese people.

Chi said she was excited about this place thanks to its extremely peaceful atmosphere, plus an interesting culture waiting to be explored.

Along with the other contestants from many countries, the Vietnamese beauty explored several local produce and even visited a cellar.

“After few days in Lebanon, I learned a lot of interesting things, and new experiences. At this point, I am very confident and be ready for the challenges of the contest,” she said.

Although contestants from the other countries appear to have better looks and figures than her, the Vietnamese representative attracts all looks with her body and her knowledge.

Chi, 27, born in the southern province of Vinh Long, is 1.72m tall, weighs 48kg and measures 86 - 58 – 90.

The Miss Asia World 2018 is held in Tyre, Lebanon, with the participation of 40 contestants from Asia, during 20 days of competition from June 20.
