As Christmas Eve is less than a week away, people in Ho Chi Minh City are gathering at shopping malls to share with their loved ones the joyful moments of the last days of the year in the spirit of the holiday.
As Christmas is coming, so is the refreshing and chilly weather.
This is the chance for youngsters and small families to dress to the nines and take photos at shopping malls, such as Diamond Plaza, Vincom Dong Khoi, and Saigon Centre in District 1.
This year, Christmas decoration started in Ho Chi Minh City as early as the beginning of December, with colorful lights and ornaments and Christmas trees found at numerous shopping complexes or department stores.

Young people take advantage of this early preparation to put on their best dresses and pose before the camera.
"It’s Sunday, my day off, and I take my family here and make some memory in the joyful atmosphere of the season,” said Pham Hong Quan, a resident in Binh Thanh District.
“People should spend this time with their loved ones.”
