Tuoi Tre News invites readers to watch a video on U.S. Second Lady Jill Biden’s trip to Ho Chi Minh City supplied by the White House via the U.S. Consulate General.
The two-minute video provides a close look at Dr. Biden’s visit to the Consulate General's American Center on July 21.
At the center, she attended a teaching workshop for 74 high school English teachers from public schools in the city and passed her passion for teaching on to those teachers, as she is a lifelong educator.
According to the White House, Dr. Biden, 64, has been an educator for more than three decades.
The video recorded experiences that the Second Lady shared with the teachers to encourage and celebrate them.
At the end of her remarks, Dr. Biden hailed the teachers by saying, “You’re amazing!”
The stopover at the American Center was part of the Second Lady’s four-country Asia visit, which lasted from July 16 to 23, to engage government and civil society partners in issues related to economic empowerment and educational opportunities for women and girls, the White House said in a press release on July 20.
