North Korea officials brief Kim; goodwill visit to Vietnam set for Mar. 1-2

SEOUL - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was briefed by officials engaged in working-level talks for a summit with U.S. President Donald Trump after he arrived in Vietnam, the North’s state news agency, KCNA, said on Wednesday.

After his summit with Trump, Kim will conduct a goodwill visit to Vietnam on March 1-2, KCNA said.

During a visit to the North Korean embassy after his arrival in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi on Tuesday, Kim told staff to strengthen bilateral ties in line with the needs of the times, it added.
