Angry at wife, Vietnam man cuts off, throws his ‘tool’ into canal

Angry at wife, Vietnam man cuts off, throws his ‘tool’ into canal

A man in southern Vietnam has permanently lost his ‘willy’ after he cut it off in a fit of anger at his wife and threw it into a canal.    The man who emasculated himself is N.V.C, 54, a resident in Tien Giang Province, who was hospitalized on April 8 with two-thirds of his genitals lost, causing a serious loss of blood. Doctors immediately took measures to stop the bleeding and then stitched the injury at the remaining of his private part, said Nguyen Phuoc Loc, a doctor at Can Tho Central General Hospital, located in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho. The man and his relatives could not recover the severed portion for a reconnection, so from now on what is left can function as a urinating organ only, Dr. Loc said. The man told doctors that he chopped off his penis because he got furious with his spouse and then threw the cut-off part into a canal near his home. Doctors said a reconnection can only be made in such incidents when the severed ‘meat’ is preserved in a proper manner, such as putting it in a plastic bag and then wrapping the bag in a box of ice.   In order to ensure the suscess of a penis reconnection, both the victim and the ‘thing’ should be taken to hospital as soon as possible, doctors advised. A penis-cutting case also happened last month in Ho Chi Minh City when a 42-year-old man in District 2 had two-thirds of his penis chopped off by his wife over jealousy on March 8. As her husband suffered blood loss due to the cutting, the woman dressed the wound and took him together with the ‘two-thirds’ to Hoc Mon District Hospital for emergency aid. The man was later transferred to Nhan Dan 115 Hospital for a successful reconnection.
