The death of the foreigner, Suvorov Alexander, was discovered at 10 pm that day by a staffer at the Malibu resort in Mui Ne Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province.  As the foreigner stayed in his room all day long, the staffer called him to open the room door to visit him but received no response.       The staffer then opened the door and saw the man lying without clothes, with his back leaning against the door. The case was reported to police, and this morning, January 29, Binh Thuan police examined the scene and performed an autopsy.  Suvorov arrived at the resort on January 19 and is scheduled to leave on this evening, January 29, the resort said. Many witnesses told police that the Russian man used to drink a lot of liquor every day. “Mr. Suvorov would drink all day long. He often went to a shop to buy some bottles of liquor and brought them to his room and drank. There was a day when he broke a liquor bottle in his room during his drunkenness and sent away a housekeeper who came to do the cleaning,” Nguoi Lao Dong (Laborer) newspaper cited a receptionist at the resort as saying. Yesterday morning a tour guide came and asked him to go out for a sightseeing trip but he refused,” the receptionist added. Police are investigating the cause of the death.
